Here's how to plug in around town this week.

It’s a busy week in Hyattsville. Here’s a rundown of the civic events on the schedule:

Tonight:

A 6:30 p.m. there will be a meet-and-greet with . The event will take place in the City Hall in the second floor Prangley Room.

From 7:30 to 8 p.m. there will be an update meeting about plans for the Arcade Building, 4318 Gallatin St. In December, the city unveiled a draft plan for the inside of the building and invited residents to review the proposed design and possible uses. This is a follow-up meeting to review progress on the final plans.

At 8 p.m. there’s a City Council work session. The meeting agenda includes discussion about the proposed city traffic study.

Wednesday:

There’s an environmental committee meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at City Hall.

Thursday:

From 7 to 9 p.m. there’s a code enforcement advisory committee meeting.

Friday:

Children’s bingo is on tap from 7 to 9 p.m. at Magruder Park.
