"Snow-by"

Toby *hearts* the snow.

My dad has fittingly dubbed him "Prancer" because of how he hops around in the (often feet of) snow back home in Buffalo.

Last night, as the latest "wintry mix" mini-pellets stung my face, Toby cris-crossed the small courtyard outside our apartment building. The tiny sleety bullets didn't bother him one bit.

Last year, during "snowmageddon," I'd let Toby outside our home on his tether. Once he made if off the back porch he was like a statue out there. The snow was up to his underbelly.

So Toby made the most of the situation and began licking the snow.

Sometimes he bats it around. Sometimes he tosses it in the air with his snout. Sometimes he lays down in it and rolls around (a Toby snow angel!).  He's just a beautiful dog in the snowy weather.
