Volunteers Needed as Tax Preparers

The VITA program at Prince George's Community College needs volunteers to help prepare federal and state tax returns.

Tax season has arrived, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program at Prince George’s Community College needs volunteers to help prepare tax returns.

The program offers free tax services to Prince George’s County residents with disabilities, elderly taxpayers and low- and limited-income residents and students.

Volunteers will be trained and gain valuable experience working with the community. Last year, the VITA program prepared over 2,200 federal and state tax returns.
