  • Fosselman also highlighted the efforts of the Noyes Library and their fundraiser at Two Pears Cafe on Satursday.
  • Fosselman announced he would be running for a fourth term. He said two new candidates have also stepped forward to run for open council seats.
  • Councilman Sean McMullen thanked town crew for their efforts in maintaining the town. He also gave kudos to the town staff on the budget saying the document was clearer. But added, "I would like to see longer-range planning."
  • Councilman John Thompson said the town is working on installing traffic cones to curb cut through traffic.
  • Town Manager Sanford Daily passed out the proposed MARC train schedule. According to a resident, the proposal will add one morning and one evening train to the schedule.
  • Daily discussed the town's new parking space allocation plan. It would designate 23 spaces to all day commuters at "cement" lot, while 24 would remain as 4-hour parking only. In the 13 spaces on the southside,  seven spots would be designated as 4-hour parking, unless by permit.
  • The permits would be $180 per year.
