• Prince George's County Woman Wins $1 Million on Single Powerball Ticket Purchase (smnewsnet.com) — A Lanham resident turned a single $2 Powerball ticket from the 7-Eleven on Finns Lane into a $1 million prize in the Dec. 10 drawing. She and her husband plan to pay off debts and buy a bigger house, while the Lanham store also receives a bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling the winning ticket.
