Area Talent Will Shine During 'Frozen On Ice' Presented By Gardens Figure Skating Club

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Prepare to be amazed by local talent when the Gardens Figure Skating Club presents its annual spring ice show, Frozen on Ice. There will be two shows on April 9 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Gardens Ice House Patrick Arena located at 13800 Old Gunpowder Road in Laurel.

Frozen on Ice is a figure skating show based on "Frozen - the Broadway Musical" featuring Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff, the trolls, Olaf and more. The cast includes local skaters from age four to adult, integrating skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced national medalists, creating a visually exciting theatrical experience for all ages. Many of the skaters compete in the U.S. Figure Skating system including national level showcase, theater on ice and synchronized skating competitions.

“Frozen on Ice is one of the best shows we've done over the last decade. From the choreography to the caliber of skating to the sets and costuming, Frozen on Ice will appeal to all, young and old," Jacques Gilson, artistic director, said.

Tickets will be on sale at the door for $23 for general admission along with a limited number of special reserved seats available for $33. General admission and reserved seating tickets are available online. Children younger than 3 are admitted for free.
