Last Chance: Run for Laurel City Council

Want to make a change in the city of Laurel?

Well, today (Sept. 3) is your last chance to run for a city office in the 2013 municipal election. Eligible candidates must file for the election by close of business.

Five city council seats are up for grabs: two seats from Ward 1, two from Ward 2 and one at-large member.

Early voting will be held Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the general election will be held on Nov. 5 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
