Armed Robbery, Beer Store Burgled

Police summary covers Aug. 23 to Aug. 29.

The following is from the most recent crime summary for the Montgomery County Police Department's Sixth District, which covers Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg.

  • A residential burglary occurred on the 20200 block of Grazing Way in Northgate at about 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24.  Signs of forced entry were apparent but it is unknown if property was stolen.
  • A residential burglary was reported on the 9800 block of Dockside Terrace in South Village at around 8:25 p.m.on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Property taken; signs of forced entry.
  • A residential burglary was reported on the 9700 block of Digging Road in Whetstone. The theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24 and 8 a.m. the next day. Property taken; signs of forced entry.
  • Sometime between 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26 and 7:45 a.m. the following day, four counts of vandalism occurred on the 10400 block of Kardwright Court in Stedwick.
  • , at 19223 Watkins Mill Road in the Montgomery Village Center, was broken into at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28. Property was stolen.
  • An armed robbery occurred on the 20000 block of Hoffstead Lane in Patton Ridge at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29. Two males wielded a weapon and stole property. Both suspects were about 20 to 25 years old. One was described as being at least 6-feet tall with dreadlock and wore a black hoodie and long black shorts. The other suspect wore a grey t-shirt and long black shorts.
