The kids and I struggled, but we made it through with some savings and some help from others. It was time for a change. ● I became an independent agent. The 7-Eleven in Wyman Park was robbed at gunpoint, and the robbers made off cash and Newport cigarettes.   The robbers entered the store at 4:20 p.m., Oct. 2 in the 600 block of West 33rd Street armed with a silver handgun. The robbers ordered the employees to open both cash registers and put the money in a black bag. After taking the money the robbers also put cigarettes in the bag as well. After taking the cigarettes the robbers got in a green vehicle and drove away.
