After Odor, School Dismissed Early: Emergency Officials
One school in Baltimore City was evacuated and students were released before their usual dismissal time Thursday.

BALTIMORE, MD – Steuart Hill Academic Academy is closing early on Thursday due to utility issues, school officials announced Thursday afternoon.
Families are asked to pick up their children at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, at Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School.
According to Baltimore’s Office of Emergency Management, students and staff had been evacuated from Steuart Hill Academic Academy Thursday morning because of an unknown odor.

This is the second utility-related incident at the academy this week; Steuart Hill Academic Academy was closed on Monday, Feb. 1, because of heating problems.
