Baltimore City Public Works Offices and Yards Closed on Election Day

Makeup trash/recycling collection date is Saturday, November 12.

Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) Director Rudolph S. Chow, P.E., reminds residents that Election Day is a City holiday, and that DPW offices will be CLOSED Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
NO TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: The makeup collection date for that Tuesday is Saturday, November 12, 2016.
DPW’s YARDS CLOSED: All Citizen Convenience Centers will be CLOSED, including Quarantine Road Landfill.
MECHANICAL STREET SWEEPING: There will be NO Mechanical Street Sweeping on Election Day. Street sweeping parking restrictions will NOT be in effect.
BULK TRASH: There will be NO bulk trash collection scheduled on Election Day.
PARKING METERS: Parking meters ARE in effect on Election Day.
