City Schools Opening on Time, Except for One

Baltimore City Public Schools officials announced schedule for Monday, Feb. 1, after week of weather-related closures.

BALTIMORE, MD – After a week off due to snow, students enrolled in Baltimore City Public Schools will return on time Monday, Feb. 1.

All schools are operating on the regular schedule, with one exception—Steuart Hill Academic Academy is closed Monday because of heating issues; staff from the academy should report to the Professional Development Center.

January SPass will be valid for use on MTA buses and light rail on Monday, Feb. 1.

Parent-teacher conferences scheduled for this week have been postponed, New dates will be announced when schools re-open.

The Jan. 26 Board of Education meeting has been rescheduled for Feb. 2.

New report card window dates, including sync and distribution dates, will be announced when schools reopen.

High school midterm exams will be given on the first day students return to school.

HSA testing window has been extended to Feb. 2. New choice application deadline will be announced when schools reopen.
