Al Roker, Loyola University Attempt World Record In Crab Walking
The NBC weatherman will be on the university campus attempting a world record Thursday for most people crab walking.

BALTIMORE, MD — NBC weatherman and Today show host Al Roker will be at Loyola University of Maryland Thursday attempting to help set a world record for the most people crab walking at one time.

Roker's visit comes as part of "Rokerthon 3," his third whirlwind tour of the country, in which he delivers the forecast over the course of a week from spots around the nation. This year he is visiting five college campuses and attempting to set world records at each stop.

At the University of Tennessee on Monday, Roker was there when the school broke the world record for the "largest human letter," as more than 4,200 people formed a "t" and stood there for five minutes, according to the Today show, which is broadcasting the events.
Loyola will be attempting to break the Guinness record for the most people crab walking at one time, and the number to beat is 376. To help people get an idea of what is involved, Loyola put out this refresher video on how to crab walk.

The Today show airs from 7 to 9 a.m. on weekdays on NBC.
Roker also visited Baltimore in 2015 for his second "Rokerthon," when he arrived via Penn Station, where the Ravens cheerleaders and Naval Academy midshipmen were among those welcoming him.
