One School Closed in Baltimore City for Cold
With temperatures below zero, one school announced closure on Wednesday.

BALTIMORE, MD – Commodore John Rogers Elementary/Middle School will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 20, due to cold temperatures, the school announced.
Baltimore City Public Schools cited heating issues as the cause.
Several Baltimore City schools were also closed on Tuesday because of heating and facilities issues.

Temperatures were below zero on Wednesday in Baltimore, with a chance of snow showers, according to the National Weather Service.

The health commissioner for Baltimore also declared a “code blue” because of cold temperatures, effective until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
