Do you like the pancakes at Pete's Grille? Well, next month you'll have the opportunity to show just how many of them you can eat, when the diner hosts its 21st annual pancake eating contest at 7 a.m., Nov. 16. The contest is for amateurs only and winners in the men's and women's divisions will receive a cash prize. The record for the men's division is 20 pancakes in an hour and the women's record is 12 pancakes, according to a news release announcing contest. Residents may register to participate in the contest at the restaurant, 3130 Greenmount Ave., starting Monday.
