Police have identified a man found dead suffering from a gunshot wound in a Waverly Home. David Ervin, 41, was the man who was found dead inside a home in the 3600 block of Old York Road on Wednesday afternoon, said Sgt. Anthony Smith, a Baltimore police spokesman. He said police had been called to the 3600 block of Old York Road on Tuesday night for a report of shots fired, but didn't find anything. The next morning family members went to check on Ervin and found him dead. Detectives are still investigating the incident.
