Shooting At Baltimore Public Works Building: 1 Dead, Suspect At Large

The suspect remained at large Thursday morning, police said.

A Baltimore City employee was shot and killed Thursday morning at a public works facility, and the shooter is still at large, police told reporters.

Police responded to a shooting at Baltimore Utilities Maintenance at 2331 Fulton Avenue, according to the Baltimore Police Twitter feed.

The victim was a Department of Public Works employee, Baltimore Police spokesman T.J. Smith told reporters. He was found inside a locker room area of the facility, Smith said.

The suspect knew the victim, and the shooting is believed to be the result of an argument between the two people, police said.
