The right cycle | Shady Grove Access Bike Path

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will be at the Shady Grove Metro Station today to celebrate the completion of the Shady Grove Access Bike Path, a new, 10-foot bike path extends nearly a mile from Shady Grove Road to Redland Road along the east side of the WMATA Metro Access Road.

Speak out | County Executive hosts public forums

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will host a public forum on the county’s construction budget Tuesday, July 29 at Bethesda Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, and Wednesday, July 31 at BlackRock Center for the Arts. The forum begins with an informal open house at 6:30 p.m. The formal presentation and question-answer session is from 7 to 8 p.m.

 

Do-si-Do | Square dance at the Senior Center, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 30

Turn your partner ’round and ’round. The Senior Citizens Commission and Victory Court is hosting a square dance at the Rockville Senior Center. The $10 admission covers the cost of a lesson and refreshments. Call 240-314-8810 to register.
