Larceny from Vehicles On Rise in North Potomac
Police released details of the recent incidents in the most recent crime summary.

Montgomery County Police have reported a high volume of thefts from cars in the North Potomac area between Oct. 3 and Oct. 11. In addition, there was one reported residential burglary.
All of the thefts from vehicles were from either unlocked doors or unknown entry, the crime report states, adding that all of the vehicles were searched and loose items in the vehicles were targeted.
The Montgomery County Police Department released the following information their recent crime summary on Thursday:

- An iPod and coins were taken from a car in the area of Amberlea Farm Drive and Reed Farm Drive in North Potomac between 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 3
- No items taken from a car in the unit block of Teaneck Court, North Potomac, between 1 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 3.
- A wallet and a cell phone were taken from a car in the 14300 block of Rich Branch Drive in North Potomac around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.
- Three credit cards were taken from a car in the 14700 block of Seneca Castle Court in North Potomac around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 7.
- A GPS unit was taken from a car in the 14700 block of Seneca Castle Court in North Potomac between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 7.
- A car was broken in to but nothing was taken in the unit block of Flints Grove Drive in North Potomac between 10:35 p.m. Oct. 6 to 8:35 a.m. Oct. 7.
