New Map Shows What's Being Built in Montgomery County
The county Planning Department launched an interactive map on its website that shows current and future development projects.

In a new online feature from the Montgomery County Planning Department, residents can view the location and details of upcoming development projects in their neighborhood through an online map application.
Released on Oct. 7, the Development Finder displays both approved construction projects as well as those still pending approval. Site users can access detailed project information by entering either an address or town name into the search bar.
Included in the map’s detailed view are the names of a project’s owners, architects, engineers, and development contact. This could be instrumental for community members to take an active role in Montgomery County’s infrastructural future.
