In the first North Potomac-Darnestown Patch Game of the Week for the winter high school season, varsity hockey team had it's two-game conference win streak snapped by Whitman.

The Patriots were shorthanded -- playing without top scorers Arthur Yun and Jordy Bretner -- and fell to the Vikings, 2-1.
