SEVERN, MD — Five Powerball players in Maryland, including one in Anne Arundel County, won $50,000 in Saturday's drawing.

Each of the winners matched four of the first five balls plus the Powerball for the third-tier prize, the Maryland Lottery said.

One Garrett County player scored $150,000 by adding the Power Play option, which tripled their prize that would've otherwise been $50,000. That ticket was sold in Swanton at Deep Creek Grocery Gas & Liquor at 3562 Swanton Road.
