Ice Cream Shop Opening New Location In Anne Arundel County
A new ice cream shop is opening in Anne Arundel with 200 rotating flavors. "We grew up here, just down the street," the co-founder said.
SEVERNA PARK, MD — A growing ice cream parlor is opening its seventh location this weekend in Severna Park.
Always Ice Cream Company will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at 11:30 a.m., followed by a soft opening at noon. The grand opening is slated for Saturday at 12 p.m.
The new shop is located at 600 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Suite 110.

The exterior is decorated with a mural of an upside-down ice cream cone and a painted mantra reading "Work hard. Play hard. Eat ice cream."
Inside, hand-painted skateboards are hung on the wall. Each depicts a cartoon character for ice cream flavors like banana and Oreo.

"We couldn't be more excited to open in Severna Park," Always Ice Cream Co-Founder Mark Cohen said in a press release. "This is a community we know and love. We grew up here, just down the street at Severn School. It's truly a full-circle moment for us."
There are four other shops branded as Always Ice Cream Company in West Annapolis, Edgewater, Baltimore and Gambrills. Each of those locations has opened since July 2021.
Always Ice Cream also owns the Annapolis Ice Cream Company and the Daily Scoop in Pasadena.
The business plans to open an eighth location this fall in Prince Frederick.
The company also operates a food truck.
Always Ice Cream Company offers over 200 locally made flavors on rotation. Customers can expect brownie sundaes, soft-serve cones and thick milkshakes. There are also vegan and dairy-free treats, ice cream cakes and seasonal specials made with real pies and fruits.
The Severna Park shop is steps off the B&A Trail. It features plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
"This location is more than just a new store, it's a homecoming," Co-Founder Adam Cohen said in the release. "Severna Park is a tight-knit town, and we can't wait to be part of it in a bigger way."
