In December of 2012 at Arundel Mills Mall and in early January this year at the Westfield Annapolis food court, the Board of Education held community outreach events to meet with the community.
As the Board president, I was able meet with a variety of stakeholders to discuss school-related accolades and concerns. The event was such a success that the Board will continue to pursue these opportunities to serve the public.
I want to publicly thank Arundel Mills mall and Westfield Annapolis for allowing us to hold the outreach events at no charge. Partnerships such as these are a great example of how our school system works with local businesses to
help our community.
Beyond the outreach events, many Board Members attend numerous school functions and community events throughout the year. The public is always
