Arundel Baseball Falls in Extra Innings

The 6-5 loss to North County marked the end of the season for the Wildcats.

The Arundel Wildcats' dream of another regional baseball championship ended in extra innings Wednesday.

Arundel fell 6-5 in 10 innings to North County in the regional semifinals of the MPSSAA Class 4A baseball tournament.

North County will next host the regional championship game against South River, which won 4-0 Wednesday over Broadneck.

South River Boys Move on in Lacrosse

The South River boys lacrosse team won the Class 3A/4A East regional title with a 10-3 win over Chesapeake on Wednesday.

The Seahawks will next play Howard High School in the state final four.

The South River girls lacrosse team, however, fell 14-13 to Broadneck.
