It was a great day for the Arundel Wildcat lacrosse teams, as the girls and boys squads each won their playoff openers. 

The No. 4-seeded boys beat Annapolis, 14-7, while the girls stomped Great Mills, 20-2. 

The boys will next play Chesapeake High, a 15-1 winner over Chopticon.

The Arundel girls will next travel to top-seeded Leonardtown. 

Both teams are playing in the MPSSAA Class 3A/4A East region.
