Softball Teams Go Pink for Breast Cancer

The Arundel Wildcats and Broadneck Bruins wore pink uniforms during Wednesday's game in recognition of a coach's late grandmother.

It was a sunny and pink day on the Arundel softball field Wednesday, as teams donned special uniforms in support of breast cancer awareness. 

The softball teams from Arundel and Broadneck wore pink uniforms as part of a "play for the cure" event.

The Arundel girls played in honor of the grandmother of head coach Alexis Viera, who was lost to breast cancer.

It was a tough day on the field for the Wildcats, however, as they fell 9-0 to Broadneck.
