The Arundel High boys lacrosse team ended more than 12 years of frustration with a 7-6 win over Severna Park on Friday night. 

The Wildcats ended the regular season with a victory to finish 13-1 on the year. It was the team's first win over Severna Park since 2001. 

Tyler Young scored three times in the win.

On the girls side, Arundel fell to Severna Park, 24-7. 

The Arundel boys will next play Northeast in the County Championship game Monday. The state playoff bracket will also be announced Monday.
