Board to Consider Parking Lot Paving at MacArthur
The superintendent for county schools has recommended approval of $350,000 for repairs of middle school lot.
MacArthur Middle School will get a newly paved parking lot if the County School Board approves a $370,000 contract to complete the work.
The Anne Arundel County Board of Education will vote Wednesday on a contract with Espina Paving to carry out parking lot repairs.
Espina had the lowest bid among the eight companies vying for the contract.

The Board has placed the contract in its "consent agenda" for Wednesday's meeting, indicating that it will likely be approved.
Also on Wednesday, the Board is expected to approve a contract for roof repair and resurfacing at the Center for Applied Technology North. Cole Roofing Company has been indentified as the winning bidder for the $495,000 contract.
