❄️There will be no warm food for us today,said the single mom on a cold winter day.❄️

💡No power 💡no lights💡 ,no food to spare🚫,they snapped & in a snap our SNAP was snatched.🫰

🕯️My lights aren't lighting,my candles aren't candling🕯️,my souls not solaring🌞,and my 🔋generators not generating.❌

The freezers warm ☀️but our beds are cold,🛏️my pillows wet and my tears are old..💦

💅💰Power has become a luxury,a meal a suggestion 🤔🚫🍗🍖because the laws are never written by the ones who live them ✍️🤝.

🛏️❄️Our beds are cold my pantry is warm☀️.

Unable to fight these degrees ⬇️❄️with the degree that I earned🧑‍🎓.

🌑When everyone's put in darkness, they're taught to no longer need the light☀️🚫.
