Cyber, Cell Phones and Consignment Sales: The Week Ahead, Sept. 9-14

It looks like a busy week in the Odenton and Severn area. Here are five interesting events we're checking out this week.

Ruppersberger Speaks on Cyber - 
The U.S. Congressman will speak at a CEO Roundtable to discuss cybersecurity, furloughs, sequestration and other issue. The session will take place at 12:30 p.m. at the conference room of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp., 2660 Riva Rd., Annapolis. 

Board to Discuss Cell Phone Tower
- The Board of Education will review a proposal to put a cell phone tower at Piney Orchard Elementary School. Many parents are expected to testify in opposition. 

Bingo Anniversary Celebration at St. Joseph Church - Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. It's the 37th Anniversary of Bingo at Corrigan Hall. There's free cake and ice cream and $5,000 in available prize money. 

Old Mill vs. Arundel Football
- Thursday, 6:30 p.m. at Old Mill High. Always entertaining when these two rivals play. Both won their openers and are looking to start 2-0. 

MOMS Club of Odenton Fall Consignment Sale - Saturday, 8 a.m. at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Hall. $1 entry fee, with proceeds going to Sarah's House.
