Developers to Present Plans for Workforce Housing

Developers specializing in affordable housing will present a site plan for a new apartment complex in Odenton Thursday. 

Homes for America is proposing 48 apartment units near the corner of Berger Square and Annapolis Road. The community will have the chance to review the site development plan before it is formally submitted to the county's Office of Planning and Zoning. 

Homes for America in January presented early plans to the Odenton Town Center Plan Oversight Committee. 

The apartment project, currently known as Berger Square, would be priced to target people in a specific income range, roughly in line with community-oriented jobs including police officers and teachers.
