Fatal Crash Kills 31-Year-Old Man In Anne Arundel County: Police

A fatal crash killed a man in Anne Arundel County, police said. He was 31 years old.

GAMBRILLS, MD — A fatal crash killed a man in Gambrills this Sunday, police said.

Officers identified the victim as 31-year-old Joseph A. Amatangelo IV.

Authorities said the crash happened around 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Crain Highway north and Saint Stephens Church Road.

Police said Amatangelo was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruz across Crain Highway north when it was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro.

The Camaro driver was not hurt, officers said.

Authorities are still investigating.
