Fort Meade Commander Hosts Facebook 'Town Hall'
Col. Edward Rothstein took scores of questions from the community on a wide range of issues.

The Fort Meade community weighed in on a variety of topics including public safety, traffic and the quality of barracks during a 'town hall' meeting on Facebook hosted by the garrison commander.
Col. Edward Rothstein fielded dozens of questions Tuesday and answered most of them, often offering phone numbers and other points of contact to have specific concerns addressed.
The virtual discussion was the latest in Rothstein's efforts to be transparent and communicate with the Fort Meade community. The discussion featured many military members and their spouses, civilians working on base and others who were expected to be stationed at Fort Meade in the future.
