Hanover Woman Arrested in Connection with Severn Stabbing
Police say the woman stabbed her boyfriend after a fight.
A 25-year-old woman was charged with attempted second-degree murder after police arrested her for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend after a fight, according to police.
Jenna Russell, of Misty Lake Court, was arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 21-year-old Severn man on Sunday, according to an Anne Arundel County Police Department news release. In addition to the attempted second-degree murder charge, she was also charged with reckless endangerment and assault.
The arrest came after the victim initially told officers that he was injured at a party Saturday night, but he didn't know how he received the injuries. However, after further investigation, detectives determined the man was involved in a domestic-related dispute with his girlfriend, who they say stabbed him.
