Local Barber Shop Finds Ideal Location for New Success

Turn'N Headz Barber Shop and Beauty is located strategically right off Reece Road, and seems set for a healthy future.

Severn got a new barbershop this past summer, as the entrepreneurial endeavors of a few men created Turn’N Heads Barber and Beauty LLC, located right off of Reece Road and Pioneer Drive.

Placed in the same, mini-shopping center as the 30-year old Orchard Food Market, the barbershop takes the traditional community feel and ads some modern technological flair.

The shop takes the community-center atmosphere of a barbershop and is using it to draw customers from throughout the Pioneer Drive neighborhoods.

“We know everyone needs a cut, so why not make it more than just a stop and go type deal. We want you to relax and stay awhile,” said Everick, one of the shops barbers. The feel is casual, but if a patron is in a rush, that’s not a problem at all, said Everick.

Ranging anywhere from 15$ to 20$ a haircut, the barbers boast quality cuts at a rapid pace.

Comfortably decorated with individual leather chairs and two hi-definition LCD televisions, patrons won’t wait long to get a cut, but they’ll enjoy their time in line, said Everick.

“We don’t discriminate against any customer. You can be black, white, blue, purple, it don’t matter. Everyone is welcome here,” he said.

The business thrives when the weather is temperate, allowing patrons to “hang” outside the shop. Significant numbers of people can be seen in the shopping center, relaxing, enjoying the day and checking in on the community updates throughout the shop.

While the shop is still relatively new, it appears its ideal location near the Orchards on Pioneer drive and the other housing developments, will enable it to become a Severn staple, alongside establishments like and the .
