Local Runners Take Part in Penn Relays
The 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams competed against some of the nation's best runners in the historic track meet in Philadelphia.

The track teams from Arundel, Old Mill and Meade high schools competed with thousands of the top runners in the nation last week, taking part in the historic Penn Relays in Philadelphia.Â
Several 4x100 and 4x400 teams hit the track at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Â

ARUNDEL
(Competed in "small school" division)

- Boys 4x100 relay (Quenshawn Collins, Teon Archer, Jamael Stuart, Blake Thornton)  — 44.65 seconds. 82nd place.
- Boys 4x400 relay (Quashawn Collins, Jason Stuart, Aaron Johnson, Quelan Dunn) — 3:36.23. 2nd place.
- Girls 4x100 relay (Asya Proctor, Elisa Bratton, Vanna Lewis, Dominique France) — 51.07 seconds. 52nd place.
- Girls 4x400 relay (Marvina Flythe, Vanna Lewis, Becky Frost, Dominique France) — 4:19.09. 4th place.
OLD MILL
(Competed in "large school" division)
- Boys 4x100 relay: (Donovan Franklin, Marcus Hicks, Malachi Young, Gabriel Parson) — 43.39 seconds. 29th place.
- Boys 4x400 relay: (Malachi Young, Jonathan Codgell, Frederick Butler, Geremy Thorn) — 3.29.17. 6th place.
- Girls 4x100 relay: (Raenell Dorsey, Tessa Butler, Lara Hodak, Rebecca Feliciano) — 52.89 seconds. 182nd place.
- Girls 4x400 relay: (Lara Hodak, Raenell Dorsey, Rebecca Feliciando, Tessa Buter) — 4:22.04. 7th place.
MEADE
(Competed in "small school" division)
- Boys 4x400 relay: (Ahmad Abram, Joshua Gaithers, John Robinson, Anthony Paul) — 3:27.46. 2nd place.Â
