Man Shot at House Party in Severn

Police found the shooting victim in a car at the intersection of Route 100 and Route 170. He is in stable condition at a hospital in Baltimore.

Anne Arundel County police said a man was shot early Sunday morning during a party at a house in Severn. 

Police said they responded at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Route 100 and Route 170, and found an 18-year-old man inside a car with a flesh wound to the arm. 

About the same time, officers also got a call from a nearby resident who reported hearing two gunshots.

After investigating, police said they learned that the victim had been shot following an argument at the 1500 block of Monard Avenue. After being shot, the victim and some friends attempted to drive to the hospital, but stopped on the side of the road. 

Police said are looking for two men in the shooting.

The victim was later transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore where he is in stable condition.
