MARC to Have Special Afternoon Train Wednesday

The MARC Penn Line will have a special train departing at 2:50 p.m. from Washington on Wednesday.

If you want to get out of work early on Wednesday to get a head start on the Thanksgiving holiday, MARC train may be able to help.

The rail service said there will be a special "pre-Holiday Extra" train on the Penn Line, leaving Washington's Union Station at 2:50 p.m. It will make all stops all the way to Perryville.

MARC said there will be no 5:20 p.m. from Washington.

In order to help MARC determine where to assign rail cars on Wednesday, officials are asking riders to fill out a survey asking which train they plan to ride.

The survey is available here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MNHCNQR

There will be no MARC service on Thursday or Friday.
