O'Malley Budget Includes Funds for Local Roads, Trains
Nearly $20 million will be set aside for road improvements along Route 32 and near Fort Meade.

Roads and train systems in the Odenton area could get money for improvements under the budget submitted by Gov. Martin O'Malley this week.
The governor's spending plan for fiscal year 2015 calls for millions of dollars in road improvements near Fort Meade and on Route 32, plus some funds for upgrades along the MARC Penn Line.
The budget proposal includes the following:
- $15.2 million for improvements related to the base realignment and closure activities near Fort Meade.
- $4 million for studies and improvements along Route 32.
- $33 million for improvements along the MARC Penn Line, Camden Line and Brunswick Lines.
- $44 million for MARC train coach and locomotive overhauls.
