Opening Day Set for Crofton Farmers' Market
The market is set to open on May 11 with even more vendors in place than last year.
CROFTON, MD–Anne Arundel County’s largest farmers’ market will hold a grand opening from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, according to a news release.

The Crofton Farmers’ Market has 60 vendors already confirmed to participate at its official location, The Crofton Country Club in the heart of the city. The unique market only allows the manufacturers of the product to present them to the public.

“What’s more,” noted Crofton Farmers’ Market Manager Chad Houck, “we are dedicated to bringing a tremendous assortment of the highest quality, local produce, meats, dairy, breads, flowers, specialty foods, collectibles and crafts directly to where we call home – Crofton, Maryland.”

Houck said the Crofton Farmers’ Market will be much more than a weekly shopping stop. “With the vendors we’re working with, Crofton Farmers’ Market will actually be a Wednesday afternoon destination for the entire family.”
The market will be held on Wednesdays through October 26.
