Everyone is finally back from holiday breaks, and it looks like a busy week. Here's a look at some of the big events impacting Odenton and Severn this week.
County Council Meeting
When: Monday, 7 p.m.
Where: 44 Calvert St., Annapolis
Details: The council has a full slate, with a vote on changes to pension plans, an emergency measure to appropriate funds for the WB&A Trail, and a discussion of a bill allowing for denser residential development in some areas.
Legislative Preview With Sen. Ed DeGrange
When: Tuesday, 8 a.m.
Where: J. King's Restaurant
Details: The West Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce will host this "Tuesday Topics" breakfast as a way to get details on the upcoming legislative session. Cost is $25 for members, $45 for non-members.
American Cancer Society Relay For Life Kickoff
