Piney Orchard Street Festival Returns Saturday
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Stream Valley Drive.
The community's biggest spring event is back Saturday, as the Piney Orchard Street Festival returns to Odenton.
The fourth annual event appears to be bigger than ever, with a host of vendors, activities and entertainment along Stream Valley Drive.

When: Saturday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Things to look for: More than 100 vendors, three live bands, a rock climbing wall, moonbounce, DJ, and raffle with prizes. Oh, and lots of food from various local restaurants including Perry's, Chick-fil-A, Expressway Pit Beef, Shoreline Seafood and more.
Who are the bands? The music schedule is as follows:
11:30 a.m. — Retro Rockets
2 p.m. — The Poverty Ridge Band
4:30 p.m. — Jess Cantly and Band
Can I bring my dog? Organizers have requested that no dogs be brought to the festival.
Where should I park? If you live in Piney Orchard, consider walking. If you need to drive, there will be street parking on adjacent streets, but pay attention to signage. The community center parking lot will be closed to accommodate vendors and other needs for the festival.
What if it rains? This is a rain or shine event. The weather forecast is calling for scattered thunderstorms and some rain in the morning.
Is there a cost to enter? No, the event is free. All costs are covered by sponsorships and vendor fees.
