Police: Handgun Used in Robbery in Severn

Police said one of the suspects was wearing a t-shirt featuring a character from "South Park"

Anne Arundel County police responded Saturday to an assault and robbery of a man in Severn. 

At about 3:45 a.m., officers came to the 1800 block of Arwell Court and spoke to a man who said he was approached by four other men, including one who had a handgun. 

The victim said he was struck in the face with the gun and was forced to empty his pockets. The suspects took money and ran away to the area of Pioneer Drive. Officers searched the area with the help of a K-9 unit, but couldn't find the suspects.

Police described one suspect as a black man with a thin build, wearing a black t-shirt with a South Park character on it. He also was wearing a black bandana and dark jeans. Police did not have a detailed description of the other three men.
