Police Respond to Robbery on Pioneer Drive
A man is suspected of using a handgun to steal cash from two people Sunday morning
Anne Arundel County police responded early Sunday morning to a report of an armed robbery near Pioneer and Richfield Drives.
Officers came to the scene at about 3:50 a.m. and spoke to two young men, aged 19 and 20, who said they were approached by another man with a handgun. The victims told police that the suspect demanded money and ran away with some of their cash.
Police said the suspect was last seen running on Pioneer Drive toward Reece Road. Officers searched the area with the help of a K-9 unit but could not find the suspect.
