Police to Discuss Chapelgate, Route 170 Traffic
The Western District Police-Community Relations Council will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Local residents can hear direct updates from police commanders Wednesday on issues ranging from crime in Chapelgate to traffic on Route 170.
The Western District Police-Community Relations Council will hold its first meeting of 2013. There is no formal presentation, but the agenda includes a general update on several issues of public safety impacting residents of Odenton and Severn.
The District Commander will offer an update on recent incidents in the Chapelgate section of Odenton, including a murder on Dec. 9.
Police officials also said they would address traffic issues on Telegraph Road.
The council will induct new officers, and there will be a question and answer session at the end of the meeting.
The PCRC will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Western District Police Station, 8273 Telegraph Rd., Odenton.
