Pruski Raises $24,000 for District 4 Campaign

Andrew Pruski has raised more than $24,000 toward his efforts to land a seat on the county council, according to campaign finance documents filed Wednesday.

Pruski, a Democrat seeking District 4 seat, has $17,494 in cash on hand, and has spent about $6,900 so far. 

Most of his campaign dollars stem from tickets to campaign events, as well as from individual donors contributing $50 or $100 a piece. Pruski has also received $750 in contributions from two labor unions.

Pruski raised $8,124 from ticket sales to campaign events, and received $3,370 in direct donations. Political action committees contributed $3,000, and the campaign took out a $9,000 loan. 

Top donations included $500 from AFSCME AFL-CIO Local #2563, $350 from Anne Arudel County Employees Local 582, and $500 from the Piney Orchard Utility Company. 

Pruski is a Gambrills resident and member of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education. He works as the supervisor of assessment for Baltimore County Public Schools.
