The Odenton community gathered in Piney Orchard Saturday for the annual street festival, and a threat of bad weather didn't keep people away. 

Rainstorms held off until late in the day, and thousands of local residents strolled along Stream Valley Drive for some food, live music and free goodies from vendors.

Organizers said there were more than 100 vendors, an increase from about 70 last year.
