Hundres of residents came out Monday for the annual parade along Annapolis Road, and had fun at the last day of the fire department carnival
An impressive display of fire apparatus came down Annapolis Road on Monday, as hundreds of residents came out for the annual Memorial Day parade in Odenton.
Fire trucks from local companies and those from as far away as Queen Anne's County led the parade, which also included appearances from the Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts and martial arts groups.
World War II veteran Carlo DePorto of Gambrills got a special ride in a BMW convertible driven by longtime Odenton resident Joe McCartin.

The parade also featured an appearance by Chelsey Roberts, the Miss Junior Glen Burnie Volunteer Fire Company.
Earlier in the day, the VFW Meade Memorial Post along with Boy Scout Troop 755 held a wreath-laying ceremony.
