Shooting Victim Found In Woods Dies At Hospital: Anne Arundel County Police
A shooting victim found in the woods died at a hospital, Anne Arundel Police said. It was the county's second fatal shooting of the weekend.

SEVERN, MD — A man was fatally shot Sunday in Severn, authorities said, marking Anne Arundel County's second homicide of the weekend.
Police identified Sunday's victim as 40-year-old Anthony Lee Brown of Glen Burnie.
Detectives think this was a targeted shooting, not a random act of violence.

Another man was found shot outside Arundel Mills mall on Friday, officers said. There's no indication that the two fatal shootings are connected.
Authorities said they were called to the 8000 block of Marlton Court Sunday around 8:50 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

The reporting person told police they found the victim in a wooded area at the end of the street. Officers said they located the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics took the victim to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, where authorities said he was pronounced dead.
The victim's remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
Detectives are still investigating, and they haven't identified any suspects or motives.
